Katia Arami, Editor In Chief
Katia is a student of Economics and International Development at UCLA. She holds a particular interest in heterodox economic thinking and post-colonial economic development. Katia has a passion for working with institutions that invest in capital and capacity for a positive impact, having worked with the Young Investors Society, a global financial literacy organization, SoGal, a network for female entrepreneurs and investors, and Alpha Edison, a venture capital firm local to Westwood. She is an incoming intern with LA LISC, excited by the opportunity to contribute to economic development in a global city. In her free time, Katia loves to read —her favorite author being Isabel Allende— and works part-time at the Hammer Museum, a contemporary art museum in West LA.
